Be Prepared: For those people who have never received a tattoo before, here are a few things to keep in mind before you get your tattoo.

  • Bring photo identification. Without your identification, you cannot prove you are you and therefore cannot give the artist or piercer consent to perform whatever procedure you wish to have done.

  • Make sure you wear clothes that are appropriate, preferably clothing that allows the artist to access the area you wish to have tattooed. Old clothing you are not particularly fond of is best. Do not wear you favorite shirt or other apparel you hold in high regard.

  • Make sure you are well fed and well rested. A tattoo can take a lot out of a person. A well rested, well fed individual will better endure the process.

  • Do not drink heavily prior to getting a tattoo. If you arrive inebriated, you will be turned away. If you arrive sober, while you may be sober, your body may still be metabolizing all that alcohol. Excessive amounts of alcohol before a tattoo may lead to excessive amounts of blood during a tattoo.

  • Do not get a tattoo if you have a sunburn or are still peeling from a sunburn.

Appointments: Appointments for piercings and consultation are not subject to any rigid set of guidelines, however these appointments will be conducted on a first come first serve basis. Appointments for tattoos will be made in person only, and are subject to a non-refundable fee of $50.00 that will be deducted from the overall price of the tattoo at the time of the appointment and subsequent completion of work. The fee will be forfeited as a result of a no show or the client arriving an hour or more later than the agreed upon time of the appointment.
